In the tropical rainforest of Uganda, Congo and Rwanda lives the rare Mountain Gorilla.
This "Gentle Giant"  is one of the 11 different primates you can visit in the pearls of Africa: Uganda and Rwanda. Others include chimpanzees, baboons, colobus and vervet monkeys – all of which can be seen during our safaris.
But Uganda  has much more to offer in terms of nature and wildlife: our national parks include vast plains and forests that are home to antelopes, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards and buffaloes to name but a few, and the many lakes and the river Nile are the natural habitat of hippos, crocodiles and other wild animals.
Uganda is also a paradise for birdwatchers: there are more than 1000 bird species living in the region, and on any of our safaris you can easily see more than 350 of them!
